Character Number: 1
Character: Olivia
Source: Fire Emblem: Awakening
Appearance: here!
History: here!
Timeline: Post Paralogue 6: A Man for Flowers
It should be noted that in Fire Emblem: Awakening, units (the characters) can pair up together in battle to build relationships, marry each other and have children, who inherits their parents' skills and hair colors. By default, Olivia is the mother of Inigo, whose father depends on who she marries during the course of the game. Speaking with both the players of Lucina and Inigo plus based on their decisions, she will also be Lucina's mother and therefore, the wife of Chrom.
Personality:
"It would honor me to have a part in giving her justice! Although all I can do is dance... And I’m not so skilled at that, if we’re being honest."
If there is one trait that explains Olivia very well, it's her extreme levels of shyness. While she is a talented dancer of a traveling troupe and the kingdom of Regna Ferox with many fans, she still gets nervous and flustered about her dancing due to stage fright. However, dancing is her main passion and it something that she loves to do for the sake of making others smile and happy from her performances. Outside of dancing, she still tends to act very withdrawn to others and it takes time for her to warm up to people. She could be a puzzling woman at first, but with enough conversation, her tensions will ease up and she is a very friendly woman. Of course, she is still a very kind person, but she will always have a feeling of insecurity to her. It is possible for her to become determined when her comrades are in danger, building up inner strength to try and help them out the best she can.
When dancing, the situation depends on how Olivia acts. It's easier for her to dance in private since having an audience staring at her does boost the butterflies in her stomach. She is different when dancing for battle as there is no time to think about it and she just dances right on cue. She tends to become a little bashful and embarrassed when dancing off the battlefield or someone watches her without her permission. Also on the battlefield, her swordplay is considered weaker than most of the other sword-wielders, but her good agility makes her a decent expert at dodging. With enough practice, she does have the potential to become a deadly opponent when she builds that inner strength up inside of her.
Along with her nerves, Olivia does lack self confidence and worth in herself. Even if she is one of the greatest dancers across the land, she still feels inadequate about her dancing and believes she has so much to learn before opening her own theater, which does share that it's one of her dreams. Even with feeling useless that her dancing and weak swordplay isn't enough, she does try to do as much as she can around the camp such as cooking and stocking weapons. Of course, she does feel like there isn't much she can do and someday, people will stop caring about her. For example, she does take it seriously when Chrom jokingly said that he would kick her out of the Shepards if she was a terrible dancer, which she honestly believes she is. Olivia can also tend to quickly judge and make assumptions, as she actually yelled at Henry for trying to help a wounded dog since he's the "creepy blood-loving kid" and he called her a "crazy lady" in return is a little accurate based on her strange behavior.
"My life so far has been mostly practice, practice, practice. I have stage fright, but it’s worth it to see other people smiling back. But you’re the one I want to make happy most of all. Sometimes I see a hint of sadness in your eyes and I...worry."
Olivia is not someone full of negative qualities, despite her beliefs. She sometimes doesn't realize it, but she does have a caring, motherly nature who can warm up to anyone with the more she spends time with them. People in the Shepards do complement on how her dancing boost their spirits, how she is actually a decent cook, and even on how hard she works to help the army. In her support with Chrom, at first, she was very tense and formal around such a leader of the army that she was very intimidated and think she is just a walking embarrassment in front of him that conversations never lasted too long between them. As the two talked more often, she became more relaxed and her smiles and laughter were more genuine than nervous. Her previous thoughts of Chrom being an intimidating man are replaced by how friendly and enjoyable he is, that she even agreed to marry him. If she does have children, Olivia does show and try to be a good mother by helping her children out whenever she can along with expression great affection for them. After learning that her son, Inigo, wanted to be a dancer, she keeps trying hard to spy on him, which is ironic since he gets embarrassed when people watch him dance as well. She learns that his practicing was the result to show her the last half of an unfinished dance that her future self taught Inigo before her death, resulting in feeling more embarrassed and guilty about ruining the surprise. However, she does apologize and agrees to show him the last half of the dance.
To sum it all up, Olivia is a complicated person at first with her shyness and her lack of self esteem. Once someone gives her time to warm up, she actually shows that she is a kind person who does work hard to prove her worth to others.
Abilities: In-game, Olivia's class is Dancer, where she works more of a supportive role than an offensive unit during battle. The only one in the game with this class, she is able to dance in battle to boost the spirits of her comrades to allow them to act twice in the same turn. She is also able to use a sword, but she isn't the best when it comes to physical strength and taking multiple hits at once. However, she make up for her lacking strength with being skilled with dodging thanks to her great Speed, Skill, and Luck stats.
Her starting skill is Luck 4+, which just boosts her Luck a little.
Inventory: Her clothes, her wedding ring, and a Concoction with three uses.
(Part of her starting items includes an Iron Sword, but due to setting rules, it will be left behind.)

Her heart skips a few beats as she rests against the wall of inn, at the back away from the other buildings and anyone still wandering around at night. Finding a permanent and private spot for dance practice is a little tricky for Olivia, even if it's been a few weeks since her arrival to Demeleier. There are people mostly around during the day and at night, the fae could jump on her from anywhere in the shadows. She still feels guilty and embarrassed about losing her sword on arrival, her only self defense just taken away from her. It would be much safer to dance inside her croft, but the lack of space can be an issue and she doesn't want to trouble with moving furniture on a daily basis just for the sake of practice. Skipping practice is never an option because it's not only for the sake of improving herself, but to calm her down... That is, if there not a pair of eyes or a crowd of them watching her every move. She double check in every spot, the area is currently clear of any other being except for herself. She is alone in the quiet night, the breeze is light and cool against her skin. Oh, and the crown! Keeping the woven branches on her head or nearby is always important as it's told that it will protect her, which she carefully places on her head. Just in case a sly faerie sneaks up on her in the middle of dancing.
She takes a deep breath, closing her eyes as she takes the first step. If she waits any longer, someone could catch her in the act and won't make her feel any better. A small dance would be quick and simple. The feeling of being watched hasn't hit her yet, but with every step she takes, her mind slowly becoming more focused on her movements rather than her worries. Even if she isn't the greatest dancer in land and she has so much to learn, the fear is worth it if her dancing puts smiles on faces. She steps and twirls, arms extended with her bangles ringing against her wrists and the transparent cloth attached to them flying in the air with grace. If anyone was watching, it was sure a sight to see... Either a sight of beauty or as she feels, a terrible excuse for a dancer. It's not perfect, but if she keeps up this private routine, maybe there is hope for her to perform this dance in front of everyone. A dance in the middle of a raging battle, that can make any spirit be boosted with confidence and pride. Even just a smile would be worth it. She finally makes a stopping point in the dance after one last twirl, legs crossed and hands together.
However, right when the sound of faint giggling echos through the wind of the night, that made her stop in her tracks and quickly rush back inside the inn once she gathered her belongings. Someone saw her. Or something did. No matter if they just noticed her or was watching the entire time, she was watched.
"Oh no..." she muttered to herself, feeling the heat glowing off of her red cheeks. Maybe she should just hide in a barrel or in her bed for the rest of the evening... It sounds better than going back out there to discover who caught her in the act.

H-Hello?
[Wow, talk about embarrassing already when it comes to making first impressions. A young woman appears on the mirrors yet she seems... nervous. Her eyes are looking away from the mirror, towards the ground or anything that is not the mirror. Her cheeks are a little red, but she swallows before speaking. However, she does put on the woven crown she has found since the mirror did say it would protect her.]
I hope I am not disturbing anyone, but the mirror said I have to announce my arrival... O-Oh no, where is it?!
[She stops for a moment, looking around herself for something. Whatever she is looking for, it's not there and she becomes a bit worried now.]
If anyone can hear me, is there someone who can help me please? Or send me back to where I was... I understand if you don't want to help an unimportant stranger like myself. I don't think I have anything to repay you back either. But, the mirror said that someone will help me if I talk to it so...
[There she goes with the pausing again, but she seems more flustered and nervous than when she first started. There is no familiar face around her and her sword is missing at the time she could need it most. She doesn't believe her dancing is enough to protect her... Being scared while defenseless in an unknown location? You bet she is scared.]
I-I'm really sorry for wasting your time!
[The visual ends very quickly after that apology.]
